Yellows Account FAQs
What is a ‘Yellows Account’?+
The new Yellows Account is the new method for registering with Oxford United Football Club. It replaces the existing, separate accounts for different club systems such as ticketing and retail, and is designed to be a single, standard way for the club’s supporters to access online services at OUFC.co.uk, OUFCTickets.co.uk and OUFCShop.co.uk.
Supporters will be able to complete and update their profile in their Yellows Account with personal details, preferences on receiving marketing information from the club.
Who needs a ‘Yellows Account’?+
Everyone, including supporters already with existing ticketing or online store accounts will need to setup a new Yellows Account. Now the club are using the Yellows Account system for sign in and registration, you’ll need to create an account before you can continue using the club’s ticketing and retail systems.
When will I need to sign in to my ‘Yellows Account’?+
Supporters will use their Yellows Account for purchasing tickets and merchandise from the club online at OUFCTickets.co.uk or OUFCShop.co.uk. A Yellows Account also allows you to update your communication preferences and personal details on our database with ease at any time.
How do I create a ‘Yellows Account’?+
You can create a Yellows Account by clicking here and entering your details.
You will subsequently receive an email with a secure link – click on this link to confirm your email address. Your Yellows Account is now active.
Now you are setup, you can update your details, adjust your marketing preferences, and link your existing OUFC Tickets and OUFC Shop accounts using your Fan Number.
You can also setup your Yellows Account by using a social sign in via your Facebook profile - to do this, click on the Facebook icon on the registration page. Depending on whether you are ‘signed in’ to the provider, you may be promoted to sign in and allow permissions. If you are already signed in, your account will be automatically created using the email, forename and surname from your social profile.
What do I do if I have not received the confirmation email?+
If you have created a Yellows Account with your own email and password, we will send you a confirmation email to the email address you provided. Whilst you wait, you will see the ‘Awaiting Confirmation Email’ page. When you receive the confirmation email, there will be a secure link ‘click here’ in the email which you need to click on to confirm your email. This will then open up a new browser tab for you to login with your email and password for the first time. This is just to check the email is indeed yours.
Please note, it may take a few seconds or minutes for the email to arrive in your inbox. If you do not receive your email, please check your junk and spam folders. If you still didn’t receive the email, please take the following steps:
Ensure you did not use any mailbox that could be shared, eg info@, reception@, sales@ as these will not be accepted for your Yellows Account. Add email@example.com to your safe senders list and retry sending the email from the link ‘click here to resend email’ in the ‘Awaiting Confirmation Email’ page.
If you have left the ‘Awaiting Confirmation Email’ page and you want to go back to resend the confirmation email, log in again with your email and password chosen, and as you have not yet confirmed your email, you will see the ‘Awaiting Confirmation Email’ page where you can click the link to resend.
If none of the steps above work, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your email address. In a few cases the email may be being blocked by your email service provider. Club staff will be able to check this so that you may contact your service provider directly.
I can’t click on the link in the confirmation email, what do I do?+
Some email clients or systems may deliver the email but ‘disable’ the ability to click on any links in the content. If you have received the email but cannot click on the link, please try one of the following:
- Add login@OUFC.co.uk to your ‘safe sender’ list on your email account
- Right click on the link, and select from options to ‘open hyperlink’ or ‘copy hyperlink’ and paste into a browser address bar and go.
Now I am setup, how do I link my OUFC Tickets and OUFC Shop accounts to my Yellows Account?+
In order to continue making purchases for tickets and merchandise, it is essential that supporters link their accounts to their Yellows Account. This process will allow supporters to have an easier and cleaner journey through the various websites, with everything linked to your one Yellows Account. You will only need to link your accounts once – once the action is completed, you are all ready to go.
It says ‘no account found’ when I enter my account number?+
This means the email address used to register your Yellows Account does not match the email address held on with the Ticket Office.
If you are not sure which email address is held with Ticket Office, please contact us on 01865 337533 or email email@example.com to ensure the correct email address is held for you, and try to link accounts again 24 hours later.
It says my Account Number is wrong+
Please ensure you have used a correct Fan Number from your Season Ticket card or from a previous ticketing purchase. If you have purchased tickets or merchandise then your account number would be on the confirmation of purchase emails. You will need to disregard any zeros that may appear before your account.
For example, if your card says 0012345, your account number is 12345.
What about my old accounts for OUFC Tickets and OUFC Shop?+
The new Yellows Account replaces any of your existing ticketing or merchandise accounts. From now on, any log in or registration request from OUFC.co.uk, OUFCTickets.co.uk or OUFCShop.co.uk will lead you to your new Yellows Account. Within this single account will be all of your separate accounts (once linked) including your order history from your old account(s).
Will I need to log in every time?+
No, once you have logged in once on each device (i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet etc…) you won’t have to log in again as our websites will remember your details. This will ease your journey through our different platforms (OUFC.co.uk, OUFCTickets.co.uk and OUFCShop.co.uk)
